trying to sneak in an update from the last couple weeks before the end of grandpa's birthday. we love grandpa very much.

| it rained for a solid weekend a few weeks ago. clem would not be denied her walk. |

| signifcantly better weather later that week. we went to our new favorite playground, right across the street from the duck/goose/swan pond and the horse trail. it has water in three or four places, including one just for the little kids. it has a bike rack. it has the new merry-go-rounds. it is awesome. |

| this little six inch canal runs through the middle of it. |

| this is the area for the wee ones. every kid there wants to fill up a container. doesn't matter what it is. so we leave the buckets at home and just bring a couple old salsa containers and everyone has good times. |
