omaha, the limited pics

since we were bright enough not to pack our battery charger, we were camera-less for the omaha trip. so we have only the pics we shot on our phones. we can consider it a reason for grandma to offload her camera's SD card this year!




the trip to the zoo was a definite highlight, even in the cold. it's never cold in the rainforest!

grandma and clemmie were closer to mama gorilla than baby gorilla was!

swansea holidays

here's a quick run through some pics from swansea. actually, first a couple from home when heids broke out the newborn sling. when clemmie saw how it worked she yelled "BEAR!" and snatched him up and put him in to carry around for the rest of the night.

grandma got her some underwear, and she found one of mom's bras.  house loungewear as it were. 

lots of reading and lots of laughing and lots of performing in swansea this year.  and thus, lots of squinchy face.

The payoff from the package the post office wouldn't release. it was ENTIRELY worth the wait.

an ornament carved by grandpa for next yr's tree. santa will play a large role in the rest of the evening.

clem demanded to immediately don everything in the package. from top to bottom: frog hat and gloves, huskers overalls, santa ornament and purple glitter sneaks!

santa later needed a change of diaper. here he gets his tush wiped.

it may be that santa hasn't quite bulked into a size 4 yet...

so it's been a month since posting (a hellaciously busy month at that), and it seems the interwebs are against me tonight. heids' picassa acct is at capacity, i don't remember what my vimeo pw is offhand, etc. so it's already taken longer than i had allotted, and nothing is posted. i will have to organize and retry tomorrow. but in the meantime, here's phone video from today, in case you log on for some new year's mirth.
